Master of Engineering Management (Master of Engineering Management, abbreviated MEM) is a professional degree set up in 2010, which is to adapt to China's economic and social development of the urgent need for high-level engineering and management talent, improve the training system expertise, innovation project management personnel training model to improve the training quality engineering and management.

Training objectives

Training with good political and ideological quality and professional ethics, management theory to master the system, modern management methods, as well as related engineering expertise, and can work independently responsible for project management, high-level planning, organization, coordination and decision-making capacity, applied project management expertise.

Admission category：

• （A）Master's degree education: pass through Jan. unified national graduate entrance examination, after study once meet the requirements, can obtained a master's degree certificate and diploma;

• （B）Non-academic education graduate students: serving officers to pursue a master's degree by October the national exam, after study once meet the requirements, obtained a master's degree certificate.

Training methods and learning time

All non-full-time student enrollment job learning, the school does not provide a student dormitory. Teaching classes segmented centralized way, to take "theory of learning, teaching and practice of combining thematic research site" training approach. Learning period is generally 2--3 years.

Conditions apply

Participate in January national graduate entrance examination shall be met: there are more than 3 years or 3 years of work experience after graduating from college staff; after obtaining nationally recognized vocational school diploma, there are more than 5 years or 5 years work experience, college graduates achieve the equivalent of personnel; master's degree or doctorate and have been more than 2 years or 2 years work experience staff. Learning experience should generally have a science, engineering background.

Candidates must also meet equivalent: core journals in the first or second author published articles; minor in undergraduate major courses; Western achieve proof undergraduate level

Entrance examination

Admission test and retest points. January national graduate entrance examination first test subjects including foreign languages and management class exam comprehensive capabilities, including two foreign language is English (Japanese, Russian) questions, by Proposition national unity. First test results meet the requirements of the candidates to participate in the re-examination by the admissions unit arrangements.

Curriculum

Teaching

Thesis

Ability to analyze and solve practical problems in project management will be reflected in theory, students apply knowledge and methods of project management and related engineering disciplines. Dissertation may be engineering management project design, case studies or case analysis. Papers will be in the student's actual work environment topics, combined with business practice done under the guidance of teachers.

Required credits to complete project management expertise and a thesis are awarded a professional degree, Master of Education Degree Engineering Management Master of Engineering Management graduate diploma can be obtained simultaneously.
