Axioms

There are two axioms in the theory of axiomatic design.

1. Independence Axiom: maintain the independence of functional requirements (FRs)
   1. Uncoupled
   2. Decoupled
   3. Coupled
2. Information Axiom: minimize the informational content of a design (or maximize the probability of successful design)
